great distance players irons
I am very pleased with the ram axial forged iron set. I have played these since the fall of 2024 and have put these into play in all types of playing conditions and have been super happy with the results. Things that make these irons so playable for me start with the build of the iron head. I like the thinner sole design tapered from heel to toe which can play from tight lies. The biggest plus on the sole is the leading edge of the sole has the dual grind and is a must when chipping around greens or hitting half shots into the grain of the grass. That design does not dig into the grain of the turf or bury itself resulting in fat shots. This club head has some forgiveness for off-center shots and not much distance loss has been seen. This head is also a low spinning head with stronger lofts, and this means a very penetrating ball flight. In the wind these heads do give good control with the loft and low spin characteristics. Only things I would like to see would be less offset and softer feel
